This wonderful and tune-riven Edinburgh-rooted art-rock ensemble is not to be missed at Krankenhaus 2025. Though fronted by Fire Engines legend Davy Henderson, their wildly wilful strategies have made them one of the UK’s best-kept rock secrets. For instance, the 2015 album Marshmallow was originally released in an edition of 1/1… Davy has fronted acute, left-leaning music with the Fire Engines, Win, The Nectarine No.9, Postcard Records, and, now, The Sexual Objects. The current SObs line-up includes the multi-talented Douglas MacIntyre (Jazzateers, Vic Godard; runs the Creeping Bent label) and Malcolm Ross of Josef K and Orange Juice, plus three members of the group Port Sulphur.
