Simon is a music journalist, author and DJ from Wales. His career as a writer includes many years as a feature writer at Melody Maker and as rock and pop critic at the Independent On Sunday, where he wrote key early-years reports on Krankenhaus hosts Sea Power. Simon’s first book, Everything (A Book About Manic Street Preachers) was published in 1999. At Krankenhaus, Simon will be in conversation with the esteemed John Doran of The Quietus, talking about Simon’s new book Curepedia – An A-Z Of The Cure, to be published this November. Simon also runs the popular alternative ’80s night Spellbound in Brighton and, in this capacity, will be DJing at Krankenhaus, alongside his Spellbound co-pilot Jayney BlamBlam.
