This wonderful Cumbrian author has regularly featured the county and the Lake District in her award-winning fiction, including in her first novel Haweswater and her new book Helm. A two-time Man Booker Prize nominee, Sarah is the only author to have won the BBC National Short Story Award twice. At Krankenhaus, Sarah will be in conversation with Lakes-based ecologist, writer and musician Lee Schofield.
Weekend tickets are available at £225 for adults and reduced prices for 17-year-olds and younger or low income. Under threes and carers are free.
There will be a single £25 parking charge for overnight parking for the weekend.
