About Muncaster Fell Walk via La’al Ratty Steam Train

Out on a La’al Ratty train for a walk back over Muncaster Fell. This year we’ve chartered an entire train for the walk, allowing more passengers to travel out on the Friday 10.25am service. This is a medium-difficulty walk, with some uphill climbs to the top of Muncaster Fell. We’ll leave Krankenhaus HQ by the Barn Stage on Friday at 9.45am and walk to the station, or you can meet us on the platform at the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. Train departs at 10.25am. We disembark at the The Green/Eskdale Green station and then walk back to Muncaster Castle over Muncaster Fell.
