Perfect for families and nature lovers, this off-site festival excursion combines wildlife watching, beachcombing, and table displays of sea animals and sea plants. Join the Cumbria Wildlife Trust, the British Trust for Ornithology, and The Knotted Project for an adventure on the Ravenglass estuary shore. We will go beachcombing, look for wildlife, and take a visit to Dave Shackleton’s ‘plastic museum’ in his front garden in Ravenglass. Look out for the Wellington Boot Dog! The CWT will have table displays of beachcombed marine plants and animals from all over the country. Children must be accompanied by an adult for this off-site event. Meet on Friday at 9.30 am at the Silo by the Barn Stage – or join everyone on the Ravenglass shore at around 10.00 am. Participants should be back at the festival around 12.30 pm.
