Bob is a co-founder of the great pop trio Saint Etienne – and an acclaimed writer and film producer. Since 1987, he has written about music for The Face, Smash Hits, NME, The Guardian, The Times, the Los Angeles Times and the Paris Review. At Krankenhaus, Bob will be in conversation with writer and DJ Simon Price, talking about Bob’s two superlative histories of 20th century pop music – Yeah Yeah Yeah: The Story of Modern Pop (Faber, 2013) and Let’s Do It: The Birth of Pop (Faber, 2022) – plus Bob’s latest book, The Bee Gees: Children Of The World, published by Nine Eight.
