Bedtime and West love the night, because that’s when the beauty of light can truly be admired. They create immersive audio–visual installations built around original stories inspired by nature. The Fallen Star (and Other Stories) touches upon themes of immigration our environment. Sophia West is a multimedia artist who uses storytelling, animation, lasers and nature to stir emotion and make connection to the Earth. Due to her synesthesia, a phenomenon of sensory crossover, she experiences certain sounds as movement of colour, an ability that informs her work. Darling Bedtime is a poet and a sound designer who draws inspiration from the interconnectedness of nature and the modern world. Taking place in a hidden woodland nook near The Glade.
