About Barbaric Battle

Sunday morning. High-spirited young sprites – and parents – will be at home with medieval mock battles led by Muncaster’s Luke Woods. A family-friendly favourite at the Medieval Muncaster Festival, Barbaric Battles is an interactive have-a-go session, using foam swords and plastic shields and armour, and hoping to help make war something that exists only in the past. Minimum age is four, and no upper age limit. The battle session lasts 30 minutes.
