If you look at some of the most exciting, innovative & critically acclaimed electronic music that has come out of the beautiful North of England over the past decade from the psychedelic electronic rock of ‘The Moonlandingz’, to the folkloric radiophonic avant-garde Of ‘Eccentronic Research Council ft Maxine Peake’, to the party electro of International Teachers of Pop; at the forefront of all these projects (and many more) is a man in a hat and shades called Adrian Flanagan. Over the past year Adrian has been wowing crowds everywhere with his new solo project ACID KLAUS from supporting Roisin Murphy at The Royal Albert Hall – to hilltop festivals in Carcassonne founded by the late great Andrew Weatherhall. For the Krankenhaus weekend he’ll be doing a hybrid DJ SET, playing party bangers, discotheque wranglers, dubbed out acid , mixed in with his own music and a bit of ‘what the fuck’ – all aided and abetted by singers from his live collective with added live percussion, synth & dub boxes! There will be no beat matching, expect ‘wayward artistry’ and your legs will follow.
