Join The Knotted Project for an adventure down through Ravenglass on the trail of the Curlew’s Tale. We’ll set off from the castle and take in the sights down by the beach, then go beach-combing and look for wildlife and birds with ex-RSPB pros Dave Shackleton and Jon Carter. We will also take a visit to Dave’s ‘plastic museum’ in his front garden in Ravenglass. Look out for the Wellington Boot Dog! Children must be accompanied by an adult for this off-site event. Meet on Friday at 10 am at the Silo by the Barn Stage – or join the walk around 10.30 am outside The Inn At Ravenglass pub, in Ravenglass. Participants should be back at the festival around 12.30 pm.
