About Katy Lironi and Douglas MacIntyre

Katy and Douglas have been closely involved in Scottish independent music for decades, their work in bands and beyond taking in The Secret Goldfish, Fizzbombs, The Nectarine No.9/Sexual Objects, Vic Godard, Port Sulphur, and much more. At Krankenhaus, the couple will be in conversation, talking about Katy’s book Matilda In The Middle, a memoir on music, family, and daughter Matilda, who has Down Syndrome. Katy and Douglas will also play a selection of live songs and talk about Douglas’s forthcoming book (A Leap Into The Void) on his storied record label, Creeping Bent.
